Here’s an interesting article on ReelSeo about how important video will become to SEO in the near future

A Parent Is Born

Being a mum, researching widgets and immersed in online video..this one keeps popping up on my radar.

It is from US based Procter & Gamble’s Pampers and uses digital media to chronicle the birth of parents via a 12 part Web series called A Parent Is Born. The word on the web is they are beginning to move ad dollars from TV to online media. I’m intrigued to see how it goes.

Social Media: A fad or a revolution

This video has been around for about 3 weeks now and was released to promote the launch of the new book: socialnomics by social media blogger Erik Qualman. Obviously it is not the most objective opinion, however some of the statistics are staggering and it was clocking up close to 1/4 million views on youtube the last time I looked.

The Punch heads to TV Land

In an interesting move news ltd opinion blog The Punch becomes a convergent media brand with Punch TV. The Punch launched two months ago on June 1 and pitched itself as “Australia’s best conversation”. Punch TV debuts on Sky News at 12.30 today.
